Welcome to Artisans of PC
COME EXPLORE THE TREASURES OF PENDLETON COUNTY
Pendleton County is home to a rich variety of talented artisans. Some produce foods and drinks -- such as honey, maple syrup, cheeses and moonshine, to name a few. Some produce works of art from materials that vary widely--from paint to iron, and leather to glass. On this website, you can view some of the works of these artisans, learn their stories, and even purchase unique items, whether visiting locally or at a distance.
Our Mission
Build and Strengthen Our Artisan Community
Artisans of PC was created to provide a safe, communal space for all kinds of artisans - beginners to professionals - to come together and express their creativity.
We believe in displaying and encouraging the creative endeavors of each and every one of us. Our vision includes three components, to be realized over time.
Create a membership organization that introduces artisans residing in Pendleton County to one another and the world, and also supports them in their creative work.
Contribute to the unity of the Pendleton County community and development via shared artistic interests. This will mainly be expressed in the provision of classes held at artisan workshops or in a central location yet to be chosen.
Provide an online platform for artisans to showcase and sell their work to both local visitors and distant fans.
Create local events (and eventually, a gallery) for display and sales for PC artisans.
Membership
The modest administrative costs of our organization are funded through memberships and donations.
There are three types of memberships offered.
Artisan Membership
Showcase & Sell Your Works
We invite you to join us for a host of benefits. Included are:
A web presence: AoPC offers one biography page per artisan where you can share your story.
An online gallery to showcase your work, and if desired, sell it online.
An opportunity to schedule classes and share your skills with others in our community.
Community Membership
Support and Participate
Community Membership options are the perfect way for you to both support PC artisans and receive 10% discounts on classes given by them.
Classes are not yet available, but your support at this time will enable us to develop classes, events, and gallery spaces for youths and adults alike.
Business Patronage
Support and Advertise
We invite local Pendleton County business support! When you sponsor AoPC, we will list you on our page.
